Background
In general, as transmission device, the gears are integrated. When incident occurred, the gears may get stuck and some transmission gear may crack or break. In this situation, the common maintenance method is changing the whole gear. The maintenance cost will be extremely high for some large gear in heavy duty machinery. The split gear consists of gear frame with fixing groove, split transmission gear teeth and screws for fixing.
